The Works Institute of Technologies is the Technical Institute that comes under the HRD Branch and formally commenced its academic year in 2002.
The Plant & Transport Divisions primary role is to purchase, manage and maintain a centralized fleet of plant and vehicles for the Provincial and National Government as well as the State funded Statutory Authorities.
The principle function of the Materials Testing Laboratory Section within the Research & Materials Testing Branch is to provide geotechnical advice together with materials testing services for DOWI.
