The Department of Works & Highways' 2025–2029 Corporate Plan outlines its strategy for fulfilling its roles and responsibilities over the next five years. It focuses on delivering the National Road Strategy through the Connect PNG Development Program, improving roads and bridges, and enforcing infrastructure standards. Aligned with the MTDP IV and MTTP3, the plan supports national development priorities and oversees the completion of Connect PNG Phase 1 while preparing for Phase 2 in 2028. Strengthening national connectivity aims to boost economic opportunities, service delivery, and social inclusivity for Papua New Guinea's citizens.
