The Network Planning, Design, and Standards of the Department of Works and Highways (DoWH) is the strategic and technical anchor for infrastructure planning in Papua New Guinea. By delivering innovative design solutions, setting national standards, and ensuring environmental and social safeguards, this wing aligns infrastructure development with the goals of sustainability, resilience, and inclusivity.
Through partnerships with stakeholders, the NPDS Wing ensures infrastructure is designed to enhance connectivity, promote socio-economic growth, and prepare Papua New Guinea for future challenges like climate change.
