Our Structure
To deliver our legal, policy, and strategic mandates, the Department of Works and Highways (DoWH) operates through four key divisions, referred to as wings
- Corporate Services
- Network Planning, Design, and Standards
- Highways Management
- Field Operations
Each wing is overseen by an Executive Director who ensures alignment with the department's goals. These wings collectively focus on critical areas such as infrastructure planning, technical standards, operational efficiency, and nationwide field activities.
The department is led by the Secretary for Works and Highways, who reports directly to the Minister, providing updates on policies and work programs.
The Secretary is supported by
- 4 Executive Directors
- 19 First Assistant Secretaries (FAS) managing various divisions and branches across the wings.
- One Principal Legal Officer offering guidance on legal compliance.
