PM Marape Historic Drive POM–Alotau via Magi Highway
Connect PNG program: August 31st, 2025 - Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Hon. James Marape, MP for the first time since independence will be the first Prime Minister to drive on the extended Magi Highway from Port Moresby to Alotau in Milne Bay Province. This event was organized by Department of Works and Highways to commemorate the 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary celebration, of PNG 50 years of nationhood since 1975.
