The Connect PNG Program has delivered several milestone projects aimed at bridging missing links across diverse terrains and regions
Kimbe–Kandrian Road
- Spanning across New Britain Island, this road connects the districts of Kimbe and Kandrian, previously separated by difficult-to-navigate terrain.
- Facilitated improved access to coastal areas, boosting trade, tourism, and local livelihoods.
- Provided a lifeline for rural communities, enabling reliable transportation of goods and services.
Bukawa Pilot Road Project
- A pioneering project in Morobe Province that connected the Bukawa area to nearby economic hubs like Lae.
- Employed innovative and sustainable construction practices, serving as a model for future rural road projects.
- Enhanced agricultural trade by providing farmers with direct access to urban markets, significantly reducing transportation costs.
Menyama to Kaintiba Road
- Addressed the long-standing isolation of remote communities in the Highlands by connecting Menyama to Kaintiba.
- Overcame challenging terrain through advanced engineering solutions, making the route accessible year-round.
- Improved access to healthcare, education, and market facilities for thousands of residents.
Telefomin Road Link
