- Comprehensive upgrades to the Highlands Highway include slope stabilization and flood-resilient culverts, safeguarding a vital trade artery from frequent natural disruptions.

- Replacement and reinforcement of vulnerable bridges along the Hiritano and Ramu Highways, ensuring that flood-prone areas remain accessible during heavy rains.
